EVC have been engaged to work on the Gunnedah Hospital Redevelopment in conjunction with a number of contractors.
The project will enhance the healthcare services and facilities for staff and patients alike.
Gunnedah Hospital extension incorporates a new acute services building, new patient bedroom areas, maternity and birthing suites and new emergency department.
Mechanical systems serving these areas are of VRF heat recovery and heat pumps systems. Negative pressure isolation rooms are served by an exhaust system to maintain negative pressure within the bedrooms.
A new medical gas system will be provided for the new hospital building.
Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide, Medical Air, Suction and Scavenge systems are part of the new hospital medical gas system.
